Announced today, 2/12/2009, Qualiteam Software (the makers of X-Cart Gold) have found a critical hole in their software that can potentially allow a hacker to gain access to files within the site.
The solution is to remove the affected file "/payment/cc_basia.php" from within the X-Cart Gold folder.
The file affects integration with "Bank of Asia". If you are using their service, you will need to contact Qualiteam for a solution.
